Applying for Registration

An application pack for BSL/English Interpreter registration can be downloaded here. Please check which category you can apply to be registered in by checking the ‘Routes to Registration’ document.

BSL/English Interpreters applying for registration are required to provide the Independent Registration Panel (IRP) with evidence of:

• Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Enhanced Disclosure
• Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII)

By becoming registered, BSL/English Interpreters are agreeing to be subject to a Code of Ethics, Guidelines for Professional Practice and a Complaints and Disciplinary Procedure, all of which can be viewed here.

Copies of these documents are available in BSL on DVD. Please contact CACDP for details.
